Favourite fashion designer: In menswear, I love the clean cuts of Giorgio Armani, along with the zest of Jean Paul Gaultier or Roberto Cavalli
The outfit you’re proudest of designing:
A gown made of pleated organza held together with silver wire and semi-precious stones. The other was called the fountain — hand-embroidered flowers cascading from a terraced neckline into an aquatic satin trail Your muse: Sanjana Kapoor
Favourite spirit: I guess the spirit of correctness and honesty and fun.
Favourite champagne:· Veuve Cllicqout Reserve or Cristal.
Favourite wine: Sancerre Rouge
Favourite cuisine: Many: Indian, Italian, French, Japanese, Indonesian, Thai and Chinese.
What food items do you like to shop for? Why? I love food shopping. I look for varieties in olive oil, pasta, cheese, hams, breads, interesting spices like saffron and cinnamon and coffee.
Newspapers, TV channels and websites you prefer: The Times, The Times of India, Business Standard and international fashion magazines. I don’t really watch much TV.
Your sleeping ritual: Generally in bed by 11, exhausted after a shower, dinner and walking my dog.
Books on your bedside: Kahlil Gibran, the I Ching, and history of the Indus Valley Civilization.
Massage or workout to de-stress: A massage three times a week— aryuvedic, deep tissue or acupressure. I also do yoga, meditate, swim and ride horses.
Your IT tools? The Ipad
Where do you like to sit when being driven? I’m very much a backseat passenger — unless a friend is driving.
On a plane do you prefer to network, sleep or catch up on films and reading? I’m generally a long-haul sleeper.
Can you cook? What? I love to cook. I enjoy imagining the blends of different flavors coming together to make something really delicious.
The beach or mountains? I am more of a beach person, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t have a profound love for the mountains.
Your cologne? Unfortunately they recently took it off the market so I’ve ended up having to invest in a lifetime’s stock of Schisedo Balsala.

Your bathing preferences? Shower, tub or bucket? Generally, I take a shower but I definitely enjoy a nice bubble bath to relax.
What’s your weekday breakfast like? And weekend? They are all pretty much the same. I like fresh fruit, juice, coffee and toast with eggs made in whatever way possible.
Your current set of wheels? BMW, 500 series
In the car is it sleep or the cell for you? Music, sleep and the cell
Favorite café: Indigo deli or Le pain quotidian.
Favorite Restaurant: The Zodiac Grill, Golden Dragon, Wasabi and Trishna.
Workday lunch is: Generally in the office with food from home.
Your ideal holiday: Being lost on the islands of Lakshadweep or Andamans.
